History on Peggy's Porcelain Art
Peggy Adams,
Peggy began painting on porcelain in 1975 after retiring from a 10 year teaching career. She started teaching classes in porcelain painting in 1979. Portraits have always been the focus of her painting, but she works with any subject which interests her wide variety of students. She served as director of a school sponsored by the Professional Porcelain Artists Association for 5 years, and is currently co-directing the Midwest Porcelain Art School. She has traveled to teach seminars in several states and overseas. In addition to PPAA, Peggy is a member of the World Organization of China Painters and the International Porcelain Artists and Teachers and has served as an officer numerous times.
